The motel is standard, the room was clean and spacious enough to stay for one night. After some confusion about the costs still to be paid we received the money back on our credit card.
Decent place to stay if you're passing through Valemount. Staff were nice, and rooms were quiet enough to get a good sleep. Bit dated, the room smelt like my grandmother's house, and wouldn't describe it as warm or cozy. I'd try a different place next time I went through, but no real reason not to stay here if you needed to.
Great room close to town and the highway. Clean and had a big shower.
The Yellowhead Motel is a great place to stay in Valemount. We have stayed there several times. It's older but clean and roomy, has air conditioning, fridge and comfy beds. Picnic tables outside to sit and have a coffee. Right in town so you can walk to restaurants. We go Whitewater Rafting at Mount Robson and then have a good sleep at the Yellowhead.
We stayed at Yellowhead as a stop on a drive from Vancouver. The staff was super friendly and the room was very clean. It's a bit dated but everything was in good working order.
