This is an old property undergoing renovation so I gave it an extra star. Brand new vinyl plank flooring, new light fixture, shower heads, TV and a small fridge with a real freezer so we could refreeze our ice packs. Beds were hard but the room was clean. Sauna and hot tub closed for repair and a big pallet of renovation materials lead me to believe that this property will be even better next time. Just try not to get room 126 as it is right beside the stairs and it was noisy when people we're going up and down.
Such a great deal! I feel like previous posts are not accurately updates because this motel has been newly renovated. Old review pics r so different than current motel. It was one of the best prices in the area and it was super clean and new! Im so happy. Owners were very kind , even the floors were brand new, brand new bed ... Love that Tim Hortons right beside the motel because I was lazy in the morning to find a decent restaurant. I would like to definitely come back here! Absolutely loved it!
Rooms were clean and well kept, and there was even TV provided and basic amenities should you need them. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and new the room looked for an inn in a remote area and would definitely recommend this place. The location is also close enough to restaurants, the convenience store and gas station. You also get a beautiful view of the mountains and sunset during the evening.
The room itself was relatively clean ,but for the price you pay it would be real nice if they would clean the windows so you could see out them. They were really gross. Also upgrade the bathroom lights. One was missing a bulb and looked like the socket was burnt. Definitely needs a lot of TLC.
Lots of potential but very lacking in the basics that you would expect from over 100 dollars a night. Front desk was polite and respectful making check in easy The cleaning staff must be getting minimum wage and worked to the bone. I found that the general presentation was okay but on closer look the room was filthy. Behind anything was months of dirt. The bathroom was clean but the tub was stained and didn't look clean. I didn't adventure to the"spa" or anything else. In the end I slept in my clothes. Will definitely not staying again, would rather sleep in my truck. They need to do a harsh cleaning of these rooms if they want any repeat guests.
