Love this local cafe. Food is always so tasty. Lots of little trinkets to browse or relax and grab a book from the shelf while they prepare your delicious meal. Books for kids and family games here also.
Wonderful local coffee shop. Coffee is always hot, great for early mornings. Grilled house-made cinnamon buns are to die for! Always great and helpful service. Edit: Be prepared with cash, as the debit/credit card machine here is constantly out of order.
I stopped in solo on my way through and I was happy to find this quaint place. They didn't have as many gluten free or healthy options as it alluded to in reviews but j feel like there is something for everyone. The coffee was delicious! I love the personality of this place with board games and toys for kids, choose your own mug, a little farm animal for a table marker and a beautiful patio area with a brewery next door if you want to make an event of your afternoon. I'll gladly come back when I'm in the area. I ordered the chicken curry jacket potato and it was very tasty and filling.
Lovely little place with great interior and nice terrace outside. Friendly staff and all kinds of good food and coffee. A "must stop in" when you're in Valemount.
Awful experience here all around. The grilled cheese for the kids and the tuna melt for my husband were all very small portions and not very high quality either to justify the small portions. I ordered a $15 salad that was sweet as candy. Turns out they don't even make their own dressing. It came out of a bottle loaded with sugar. When I objected, their response was essentially "tough luck"! I sent it back but they wouldn't give me credit toward another meal. We all walked out hungry. I don't know how a restaurant can get a 4.5 star when they don't even whip up a simple dressing and don't guarantee customer satisfaction. Also it's cash only and their ATM charges $3 for a withdrawal.
