A surprise location almost in the middle of nowhere. We were very happy to find this restaurant. The food was decent, and the atmosphere was nice. Service was also very good.
Great building. Could do with extra wait staff. The woman we had was friendly but a bit busy, so as a result we didn't get great service. Two meals out of four were excellent, the other two average.
Awesome food, best steak I ever had. Good advice also on beers and food. Would recommend not serving beer in beer cans anymore though. That doesn't fit to the overall vibe of this fancy restaurant ;)
Stopped in Valemount, BC after exploring on Canada day. Asked the concierge at my hotel where was the best place to eat. He instantly replied "you have to try Caribou Grill, it's the best place in town!"My friend and I decided we would listen and went there for dinner, upon arriving we found Caribou Grill had quite a homey atmosphere, the staff were very courteous and welcoming. Our server, Andrew, was extremely friendly and helpful, answered our questions, made recommendations and was very prompt with getting our drink orders. The food... wow.. phenomenal, I ordered the venison, absolutely delicious, well flavoured, perfectly cooked (medium rare). This would have to be the best venison I've ever had, the portion size was perfect, the vegetable sides were very well cooked, nice and crunchy. I would definitely recommend Caribou Grill, didn't wait long for a seat, didn't wait long for food, and the vibe in general was great! 10/10!
Best place for dinner in town. Good food and home like atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time here.
